Meghan Markle joined the Royal Family when she started dating Prince Harry, but the couple left four years ago and have since developed a very tense relationship

Meghan Markle didn’t hold back when she was confronted with “concerns” during her time in the Royal Family, according to a royal author.

The Duchess of Sussex joined The Firm when she started dating Prince Harry, but tensions quickly started to grow.
Meghan was accused of shouting at staff during her time in the Royal Family, with author Robert Lacey accusing her of “governing by fear” in his bombshell book Battle of the Brothers.

The author also claimed Prince William was worried Meghan was “stealing his beloved brother away” and was “very concerned” after learning how she allegedly treated her staff. In response, Meghan is said to have given a blunt seven-word reply.

“It’s not my job to coddle people,” Meghan said, according to Robert’s book. While Meghan was hit with bullying allegations during her time in the Royal Family, her close friends and family insisted they were false and didn’t align with the “kind” person they know.

A friend also told Bazaar Meghan was upset by the accusations. They said: “I hate to say it, but find me a woman of colour in a senior position who has not been accused of being too angry, too scary… in the work place.”
A spokesperson for Meghan also vehemently denied the allegations. They said at the time: “Let’s just call this what it is – a calculated smear campaign based on misleading and harmful misinformation. We are disappointed to see this defamatory portrayal of the Duchess of Sussex.”

The statement continued: “It’s no coincidence that distorted several-year-old accusations aimed at undermining the duchess are being briefed to the British media shortly before she and the duke are due to speak openly and honestly about their experience of recent years.”

Meghan and Harry stepped down from the Royal Family back in 2020 before moving to Montecito, California. They’ve since developed an incredibly tense relationship with The Firm and have made a number of bombshell accusations about various members of the Royal Family.

In their bombshell Netflix docuseries, Harry detailed the breakdown of his relationship with his brother Prince William and claimed he left him terrified after he screamed and shouted at him during the Sandringham summit. Harry also alleged members of Kensington Palace had then “lied to protect my brother”. He then further hit out at his family in his memoir, Spare.

Is Prince Harry losing his British accent? That’s what a lot of fans and critics on both sides of the aisle can’t help but wonder. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
Royal Family News – Did Prince Harry Lose His British Accent?
The Duke of Sussex recently appeared in a new video with Jelly Roll to help promote the Invictus Games. However, a lot of people couldn’t help but notice that Harry’s accent sounded more American than it did British in the short clip. And of course, a lot of people want to know why.

Prince Harry has been living in California for the last four years now but could his accent have changed that drastically in such a short time? It goes without saying that the internet certainly has had a lot to say about the matter.
Some have even commented with, “Soooo long story short, Harry is like every other person that moves to another country?!! How many Americans have moved to the UK and say bin, or lift, or takeaway?”

“They take it so personally like he’s pissed on the Union Jack or something. He sounds the exact same as his accent.”

Another critic wrote, “They are mad because things like changing his vocabulary and taking up California pastimes like surfing all point to the fact that he enjoys his Californian life, is keen to fit in, and has no intention of returning to the UK.”

Coupled with the fact he never speaks about the UK royals anymore suggests he has moved on. The UK press and royalists don’t like that.”

And then there was this comment as well: “He has always had a very soft accent which I can understand. So he picks up a few word that we use here so what. What about dear old Can’t and her try hard posh accent that she doesn’t have.”
